Assetto Corsa – New Ferrari Previews + Greenlight

Kunos Simulazioni has released new previews of their Assetto Corsa simulation, showing off the Ferrari F40.

The F40 is the second car of Kunos’ five-car Ferrari license deal, the car follows up the F458 Italia road car.

Meanwhile, Kunos is campaigning for their title to be added to Steam in order to give Assetto Corsa maximum exposure on one of gaming’s largest platforms. To support their Steam bid and check out the previews, please click here

Assetto Corsa will be powered by a brand new DirectX 11 graphics engine and will come with advanced features such as blur & DOF. The title will offer extensive modding support as well as ten laser-scanned tracks and fully licensed cars as well as AI – A first for a Kunos title.

Assetto Corsa will be available in Q1 2013, the title will feature licensed cars from manufacturers such as Ferrari, BMW & Lotus. Assetto Corsa is set to be released in Q1 2013.

    Steam is excellent!

    Used to hate it but now when it has matured its very good, i buy all my games there primarily. You get free updates, downloads are crazy fast always!

    That’s a very bold move Kunos. The F40 is incredibly hard to get right.

    I’ve been disappointed by at least something on every attempt to do a virtual F40 justice so far (whether that is physics, visuals, or sound) but good luck to you!

    Well if your laptop is shitty I wouldn’t expect it to run much, unless you turn down details so much it will look bad.. judging from rf2 and pCars requirements, all new sims will need decent firepower to run.
