Great news!  BMW and now Lotus.  While the Evora’s a great car but for me the Exige is the better track (day) car.

I was really looking forward to this project. It looks fantastic and I’m sure the FFB and physics will be superior…. 

But rF2 has ruined me for all other sims lol :)

If it doesn’t have “real road” like rF2, then I may pass on it.

I am quite skeptical about the date. Remember how many times rF2 was postponed and this is a project of similar magnitude. (I was trying to reply to Mike’s post but the comment was put on the top.)

I hope they have that single seater pictured test car above……wOOw.

Yeah, this year was looked at as being a golden one for racing sim enthusiasts, but is anything going to get past beta before the end of the year.

How many noticed the Lotus Go-Kart in the background?

I wonder if we will see classic Lotus cars or only newer models produced under malaysian ownership.

Amazingly, the Mayans had forecast all these new sims coming to market and that’s the reason why their calendar stops in late 2012. They figured no one was going to do any productive work anymore and that our civilization would perish as a result.

Why yes, this game went from “Must buy” to “KUNOS, WHY DO I STILL HAVE THE MONEY I WANT TO SPEND ON THIS IN MY POCKET!?”

That said, whoever is in charge of their textures needs to work on creating better seamless patterns.

There is also a white range rover in one of the pics.

Lotus Cars owns the rights to all Lotus roadcars as far as I’m aware, and GT entries since the Chamberlain Esprit back in ’94 or so. Vintage racers are covered by Classic Team Lotus (the license pCARS has, I believe). It’s all to do with the Lotus Cars / Team Lotus dual company that caused so many problems with F1 these last few years.

I’m also looking forward to having a 2-Eleven in a sim!

Marco has also confirmed the following F1 cars on FB: Type 25, 49C, 72, 98T.

 What with this and the ones from pCARS, we`ll have a Lotus overload on the way :)    Looks like some comparison vids are looming.

Brother… no comparison will be considered… Assetto Corsa will be HANDS DOWN>>> the Sim to have…. Gran Turismo look with Net Kar pro physics… and Modable… ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! I know where my money will go!!! A+

Everytime I see new pics/footage of RF2, GTR 3 and AC I feel like throwing money on the screen.

I’m bored as **** with gaming, I need those games ASAP.

Tbh, im sick of lotus liscences and the historic lotus cars. I thought the very first pic was a game screen and i was jawdropped. Then i realized it was a real life pic and felt stupid :)

Except it was, just kinda unofficially. Weeks before releasing beta, they said full will be on June. Now it seems we’ll be happy if it comes before christmas.

Another analogy would be with good environment and great support even a child born premature (and probably not expected to survive) can flourish and become the President of the Divided States of Sim-racing.

If I had enough time to play iRacing I’d have it, and the only reason I’ve never bought GSC or NKP is that I’ve never gotten around to it. More sims is better and always will be, competition improves the breed and everything brings its own positives to the table. Life’s too short to be a hater, and there are so few sims around that it doesn’t break the bank to support every developer (except iRacing!).

Some cool cars in the collection. Some I don´t like, but some are just fantastic. Hopefully the Kart on second picture will be in :)

I am a bit confused about the visual appearance. Looks like the previews of the BMW M1 Coupé, but not near as good as the ones with the Lotus 49.
 

 Nothing wrong with the visual appearance, looks way better than pCars, with it’s over done everything.
