Assetto Corsa – Historic Helmet Previews

Kunos Simulazioni has released a new teaser preview of their Assetto Corsa simulation that is due to be released later this year.

The preview shows off the model of an historic racing helmet, Assetto Corsa will feature classical Formula cars to go well with this one.

Assetto Corsa will be powered by a brand new DirectX 11 graphics engine and will come with advanced features such as blur & DOF. The title will offer extensive modding support as well as ten laser-scanned tracks and fully licensed cars as well as AI – A first for a Kunos title.

      I know how you feel. Lovely car. A milestone, really. But once iRacing gets theirs there are going to be too many of them around and too few of the others.

        It’s a much shorter list of sims that aren’t getting a L49 than those that are.

       I am 100% sure they would include a Ferrari, Mercedes, Porsche etc. if not for their silly licensing policies. But it seems that unless you put big money on the table and make a mainstream arcade game to get the money back, you are left with cars like Lotus 49 and some niche automakers like KTM, BAC etc.

    Wasn’t the 49 pretty much confirmed with a screen a few months back? Unless they have something else in the pipeline

       It appeared in the very first screens, but it was never officially announced, just like it happened with Imola. 🙂

    Not only we will have an historic version of Silverstone, but also two historic version of Monza. With no doubt, the team will bring us an historic GT to fit with the version using the banking !
