Assetto Corsa – First Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI Previews

Kunos Simulazioni have released first renders of the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI for their Assetto Corsa title.

Kunos Simulazioni have released first renders of the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI for their Assetto Corsa title.

The car is part of the title’s three-car Alfa Romeo license that was announced last June.

Build to the extreme Class 1 touring car rules, the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI is one of the most extreme touring car racers ever build. The car’s home was the DTM series from 1993 to 1995 as well as the 1996 ITC series where the Alfa fought countless battles against Mercedes Benz and Opel until the ITC and Class 1 touring car racing met its demise due to the absurdly high costs involved.

    this looks amazing

They (KS) have started a campaign on Facebook, each +1000 likes they share some WIP info (as they did for pre-early-aceess on their Dev blog).

Though this is kool, seeing that this is still early access, that should have continued without 1000 likes. Clearly KS has contracted that ‘Apple syndrome’, yeah, that problem where when your product becomes most liked, you start doing/giving less for more. Anyways, I love the Sim and I back it 100%, just always had a problem with the way it was managed.

No, it’s really more to do with continuous expansion. It’s no different than SRW buying a ton of facebook likes, it’s for a reason. Those likes help it rise up the charts, so you are much more likely to run into it over others in the same category. Take a look at Youtube for example – they don’t bug you to subscribe to a guy with 5 subscribers, but rather the ones with 5 million. It creates a snowball effect.

AC isn’t that big, really. In the grand scheme of things, it’s a tiny little fish in a fairly big pond.

I enjoyed this car in Gran Turismo like millions of people, but PD give us only a standard version.

This is the PREMIUM version by Kunos! And will be paintable!
