Kunos Simulazioni has a long relationship with Ferrari, after creating Ferrari Virtual Academy, the Italian make will also be present in the company’s new Assetto Corsa title.

Visitors of the Ferrari museum in Maranello can now appreciate their business as well as the museum now features an impressive simulator which looks to be running Assetto Corsa’s Monza track.

Assetto Corsa will be powered by a brand new DirectX 11 graphics engine and will come with advanced features such as blur & DOF. The title will offer extensive modding support as well as ten laser-scanned tracks and fully licensed cars as well as AI – A first for a Kunos title.

Assetto Corsa will be available in Q1 2013, the title will feature licensed cars from manufacturers such as Ferrari, BMW & Lotus. Assetto Corsa is set to be released in Q1 2013, a first “technology preview” demo is due to be out in a few weeks.

    Funny, Ferrari accepted SMS’ money for their license to make Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends, yet they don’t even use it in their own museum.

    Now they’re accepting $$$$ from Kunos as well. lol
    I guess it’s just a matter of time before they start going after the modders, like Porsche did.
