Good times ahead! I’m waiting to drive these (esp. E30 M3 DTM) more than Ferraris :)

Pretty much!

These people can keep their fancy 458s and other Ferraris… we have an E30 M3 and almost as awesome – a 1M. Sure the 1M looks goofy as can be, but it’s a awesome car. Like a modern E30 M3. Cept uglier.

E30 FTW! I’m hoping for a lot of HQ classic car mods once this is released!

I suppose I will be struggling to keep the pace somewhere at the rear of he brigade :-)

To be honest, as much as I am a Ferrari fan and Audi fan and all that, for the road cars I’m waiting for every single BMW as much as every single Ferrari. The only car I’m more interested in is probably the P4/5 Competizione but I’m waiting equally much for every road car, with maybe slightly less emphasis on the Lotus. Don’t take me wrong they are awesome but it’s just that they’re thrown in with so awesome other cars. Saying that all of them will definitely not sit in the virtual garage, I’ll have no life when AC comes out :S

Looks more like Imola than Monza.

Thankfully the 1M was created before BMW beat the 1-Series to within an inch of it’s life with the biggest ugly stick they had in the design studio.

Everyone have different tastes but every new car, every new brand they add is an ADDED VALUE to the simulation.

Complaing because of the Ferrari licence is very stupid.

We should be greatful to Kunos if they managed to sign such a famous brand.

Im with you on this..got a 130i myself and pulled up next to a new 1 series the other day and could not believe how high it was. Well at least weve got all the front wheel drive beemers to look forward too…er NOT!

Ok, only now I realise the last grey BMW (I think a Z4) is actually going sideways…. If the AI is going to be fighting with going sideways and being aggressive yet safe, this might be the most fun offline experience so far! :)

AI going sideways is in racing games since years.

You can have any one of them you want, but there is nothing out there that compares to the E30 M3. Nothing. It’s an amazing chassis with enough engine to keep it fun, which in process highlights who is the best driver. Slow cars are fun cars.

458? Chuck it sideways, clip apexes, brake way to late – bit more forgiving because it is just “that good”. Miss an apex when you have less than 250 HP, well, you won’t be doing well. At all.

There is something to be said for taste. And any E30 shows taste. ;)

Cept that guy here in town who spray painted his matte black and tried then attempted to add in some JPS style gold striping… what a load of fail.

Looks more like just a buggy AI right now than anything… If that guy is THAT sideways on entry to that corner, he’s doomed. That’s so far gone he would be a very dangerous – or very slow – man.

How do you make an ugly car uglier? Ask BMW’s designers.

For some reason, I don’t see anything after the E46 being as “sorted” in the long run exterior wise. E60s and E90s already look dated to me.

Saying this means you don’t apreciate the effort Kunos made to have one of the most famous brands in the World. Ferrari licence cost money it’s not in every videogame.

I can understand a BMW E30 is fun to drive but it doesn’t mean a Ferrari isn’t. There’s room for booth in my hard disk, they have completely different characteristics. So comparing a Ferrari with an E30 makes NO SENSE.
