Assetto Corsa – Beta Version Available Very Soon!

Kunos Simulazioni has announced that a beta version of their much-anticipated Assetto Corsa title will be available soon!

Kunos Simulazioni has announced that a beta version of their much-anticipated Assetto Corsa title will be available soon!

Sim racers will be getting access to the title’s beta version via Steam Early Access, giving customers the chance to purchase the game at a reduced price of 34,99โ‚ฌ (a 22% discount on the regular retail price).

The beta version will feature the main structure of the game and 11 cars in 8 classes. Kunos will be adding new contents & features to the beta every two weeks, adding the AI, multiplayer, damage model and career mode over the course of the beta programe.

In the end, Assetto Corsa will feature 35 cars in 16 classes that can be raced on 11 tracks. The company has decided to add more content to the title’s main build as well as Spa Francorchamps, the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG, SLS AMG GT3 & Lotus Lotus Evora GTC to the main build.

Once the beta program has ended and the final main build is for sale, Kunos will be adding fresh content via DLC all the way through 2014.

An exact release date of the beta version has not been given, Kunos confirms that the release is imminent as the title’s website is currently being prepared for the launch.

  • Gumshoe

Oh dear. So that’s how they hit the 2013 target, as beta. Aren’t we a little tired of ‘beta’ sims?

Will be fun no doubt though. I hope it’s a short beta period, but I’m wary with the history here.

    • Radek ลปukowski

      rF2 all over again…
The plus side is that it’s not a subscription model so it won’t expire after a 2 year beta;)

      • wajdi nujeidat

rfactor 2 beta had at least much more features than this first version of AC! RF2 in the first beta version had real-road, online mode, offline mode, damage, day-night progression, variable weather, dinamic lighting and and….yes all these features were WIP but they were at least presente and workin! so it isn’t the same thing!

      • wajdi nujeidat

Said this, AC will be mine(in shaa allah) at D1 and the Visa card is already ready!lolll..

      • Anonymous

yep, before visiting here i said this at bsimracing, and i still stick by it:

We’ve been given two very weird delay excuses during the past year. The first was a huge 6+ month delay because Kunos decided they wanted to target the GT5/Forza market. It sounded odd at the time, and still does.

Then, the Italian government rejects Kunos to allow pre-orders for AC. Many immediately blame corrupt Italian bureaucracy, with only a few (Italians) stating this sounded like nonsense. My guess is that the pre-order was denied because Kunos could not give a reasonable launch date target for the title.

Now, we get offered a paid beta, though i assume all of us were expecting a full on release announcement any day for December or something? But what we have is an announcement with no actual date yet, for a beta with 11 cars, limited content and no AI or multiplayer.

I’m worried, is AC likely nowhere near finished?

Makeof that what you will. But I am not going anywhere near AC until it gets robust muiltiplayer added and i feel comfortable the PR matches the facts.

      • BackMarker

You sound too emotionally-invested in AC. I think you should relax, sit this one out, or buy the beta (saving a bit of money), and then wait for the full version release.

      • Anonymous

loooool, emotionally invested? And then i get some excellent and condescending advice on how to cope through this truly awful and traumatic period.

Holy christ BackMarker, all i did was recall the PR we’ve been given, saw this sneaky beta announcement and am worried that what we have been told and what we are getting seem to be two different things/stories. Sorry for sharing my thoughts, where i even put a question mark on “is it likely nowhere near finished? It is a question, not a statement.

Please, i assure you, i’m fine, the xanex has just kicked in and i’ve taken your advice, put down the machete, and have thrown the death threat letter written in my own blood to kunos in the bin. Thanks man, if it wasn’t for you god knows what i’d have done, you condescending so and so, you…

    • Racing Colour

I think you have to cut them some slack on this. Small dev team, who no doubt have a lot of personal money at stake in this, but are also determined to deliver the product they want and know they’re audience are waiting for. Seems like a good compromise to get some cash flow to fund development rather than rushing out something unfinished

      • Gumshoe

No. As far as I recall they claimed pre-order was imminent, release in 2013, etc. If they knew it was going to be early access beta, they should have announced it. All their teasing (not according to them!) to now drag things out for who knows how long (they’re dreaming if they think beta will all go nice and quick while constantly adding features) is poor form.

      • Racing Colour

No? I guess that’s that then. They’re bringing a product to market one their own, for you to choose whether to buy it or not. My guess is they’re run out of money, and need some cash flow, and they’ve come up with a solution to allow things to progress rather than shelving the title or seeking backers who might ask them to influence the product.

Maybe you could just be patient and wait. You’re not entitled to anything. None of us are

    • wajdi nujeidat

“During the whole process, the AI, Multiplayer and damage model features will be progressively added in the scheduled time”

I didn’t get it, so reading this announcement, we won’t have any sort of offline and online mode in the first version?! it would be like only one car on circuit?

      it would be highly disappointing!

      • Petros

Yes, as of now you have to pay for a somewhat expanded version of the Tech Preview.

  • Miroslav Davidovic

Ohh nooo, it’s killing the community.

      • StarFoxySxv550

You think I would have remembered that. Ha

  • Big Ron

Things seem to have developed different for Kunos than they might have expected.

Not sure how valuable a current pre-order is related to the small content of the coming release.

  • Anonymous

Excited to the see this development (that it’s actually happening) but confused. They said repeatedly that they were done and ready to launch but were waiting for red tape to be dealt with. Now they’re saying that many of the features, cars and tracks are NOT done.

Whatever, at least it’s actually happening!

  • Anonymous

I dont mind it being a beta. It’s just a label. I’d label most games released nowadays beta-releases anyway: they all have bugs to fix and content to be added in patches to come.

    • Anonymous

Well the only feature not being included I can call into question as not having been tested ever by the communities is an AI developed by Kunos which is important to me. Simbin is just as guilty with not having AI or MP and for quite a while I might add. So I reserve a bit of negativity for this type of release.

  • Anonymous

I am disappointed in the way they are releasing this but hey what can I say I agree it needs to be released. It would have been better to have a full release because this still encourages other developers to do Beta Releases which seem to not be Beta at the time this one included since all the features are not in game at release with only bug fixes needing to be done.
Anyway I bet that I will buy the early access version. I won’t call it Beta

    • http://www.gtlw.co.uk/ Lรบcio Marques

Yes, I honestly think everybody should keep an open and clear mind, and do the individual judgement of the product (unbiased by external ones) when the time for that comes.

I see lots getting fast already on assumptions and jumping on conclusions, moaning and complaining, which is absolutely comical, given the mountains of absurd fanboy posts previously flooding the interweb (such as “throwz moneyz at screen!!1!” and “shat ap und take my moneyzz!!11oneone”). …ridiculous….

Remember, some years ago, in an era where products were released extremely polished and sold “as is”, with just the odd corrective patch later, Live For Speed was on a high and very popular point when it was sold as an Alpha….

  • MatzeLoCal

“Kunos will be adding new contents & features to the beta every two weeks, adding the AI, multiplayer, damage model and career mode over the course of the beta programe”
This does not reads so good… it sounds like “we will not make it in 2013”

But it’s good that we will get at least something… and you can bet that I’ll get the early access.

Simbin is releasing a whole nother title before adding AI and MP to R3E where do we as consumers draw the line? Only reason I am buying the early access is Kunos deserves their chance to do this type of release right.

      • MatzeLoCal

Thing is that R3E was never announced as “final release by end 2013”.
But again, it’s good that we get finally something in our hands.

      • rbrfanatic .

Simbin has left the Sim business and jumped the arcade train !

      • Stupid Sweden

Simbin is a joke and all their competent personnel has long gone left the company !

      • Mario Strada

I have a feeling with Simbin that they will release DTM with AI and career and then transfer the same technology to R3E at around the same time. I am not saying I appreciate that, just that since they use the same platform if they make one they can make the other.

      • Anonymous

Well I believe every developer deserves a mulligan or two and Simbin has used one in my opinion. Hopefully they can get back to smooth releases like they have been known for for a very long while. When they put all the R3E content on sale I purchased every bit of it to be supportive even if I am not playing the game since I felt they needed it. If Simbin continues these types of practices like they have done with R3E my golf bag only allows 2 mulligans.

      • Chris Wright

Well for the first time in living memory, we’re being confronted with having to make choices. That is not a good thing, it’s a great thing.

      • Anonymous

I have a few questions. The unfinished release is for what reason and do we create a voting pool with the answer.
        Is it
        A. To keep us happy and give us what we want when we want it?
        B. To shut us up?
        C. They need the Money?
        D. Just because they can?
Perks for early access purchase. Lower Price, Double Miles, or the Girl in 2 B asking What’s in your wallet?

        My bet is option C.

Would have jumped on it, had there been someone to actually race against on initial beta release. Oh well.

  • Jorge Araujo

    Gimme! Gimme!

  • Chris Wright

GT6 releases a month today. Coincidence? Maybe, but very sensible to get the community on board at this stage. Disappointing, in as much as I think we all expected a completed product during this year. Seems like it’s still a long way from that, but this is undoubtedly a vastly better way to engage with us than the endless screenshot parade.

    • Realkman666

I’m not in favour of preorders, but if the early backers get a decent demo, I guess it’s cool for them.

      • Hurdy Hurdy

This is not a Pre-Order, it is Early Access. There is a difference.

A Pre-Order is you basically paying up in advance and then waiting for the actual release of the final game.

Early Access is exactly that, access to a pre-full release version of the game/sim. You effectively pay to BETA test the build they make available, get to provide feedback and then get the final release when it arrives, having already paid your fee.

  • Fabrizio Agate

    people always complain…
they said they will add stuff every 2 week so it will be a short beta.
it’s an actually sim game that actually looks cool and drive nice as we tested the preview now it will be better with more cars, and even the carrier mode which is good sometime I just feel like it would be nice to just play and relax
I’m really happy in this way, can’t wait for it

    • Ales Ogrinc

I would guess that if AI and MP would be ready within 2-4-6 weeks they would wait with release so this stuff will probably wont come this year anymore. I just hope it wont take so long as it takes with r3e in this mather.

      • Fabrizio Agate

I hope that too but I believe that they are not arrogant, they know that they will fail if they dont deliver something else other than just a game with few cars which drive nice…
they’ve already tried it with nkpro, they also saw what happened to other games r3 or rf2, I live in korea so im not sure during eu prime time but usually there are really few people online.
they said that they will give us the game and update the game every 2 week and they will give us more DLC during 2014, so they would need a complete game to do that.

  • Saleem Hodge

I’m cleaning out my SSD as we speak! This and iracing for me FTW!

  • Anonymous

I’m excited about the “very, very soon” statement, but I’d prefer if they gave us a date. So, you know, we could cancel our appointments for the weekend and stuff. Surely they must know now when it’s ready.

    • Anonymous

And what Crash the Steam Platform when everyone orders at once? ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Justin Schmidt

no hurry guys. going on vacation tomorrow for ~3 months. end of january would be nice.

  • Realkman666

    So, no more demo?

    • Damien

Demo when the game is released, that’s always been the plan

      • Realkman666

        Thanks.

  • Kris Baxter

I want to but I don’t. This will mean I have 3 Sims that are not final releases, as I imagine most of you will. Getting to the point where I wish we could just get a demo for free, or a final version to pay for.
I haven’t touched Pcars or rF2 in months as I lost interest in beta testing, to add another ยฃ35 to a pile of unused games would, as the saying goes, make a fool of me.

    • Saleem Hodge

I understand your point completely. I have Pcars at Senior level and haven’t played it any amount of time in months. And now it won’t even let me log in. I also have Rfactor 2 and after getting triple screens that game can’t seem to function properly with them oh and getting my clubsport wheel to work with it has been a mess. I finally gave up this weekend and subscribed to iRacing and I’m loving it so far. But my heart has been set on AC for what a couple of years now. Hopefully it will be as good overall as the tech preview felt. But I will be pre-ordering it day one for sure. I’m done purchasing anymore sims after that date.

      GTR2
      All of the Race series
      NetKar Pro
      AC tech preview
      Pcars
      f1 2010
      f1 2011
      Dirt 1-3
      Race Driver grid 1

iRacing has been more fun then all of them combined except for NetKar and AC.

      • Realkman666

pCars is only on Steam now.

      • Saleem Hodge

I know, you launch it through steam but when it goes to log me in it gives me an error.

      • Realkman666

        Hmm…

    • Big Ron

Same here. While having a good amount of sims already, I won’t pre-order a very early stage without any content. At all because I can’t estimate how the quality of AI, career, multiplayer, ToD, damage and weather will be. If it sucks I jzst have “another” sim on my HDD.

    • Chris Wright

It’s a very fair point you’re making there. The problem is would these titles even have a future if some significant funding didn’t come in during beta? I do agree, though, that there is a feeling one is spending money and not ever seeing the end game, especially with rF2. I think the tech demo of AC was enough to convince me that it has a future even as a Netkar Pro style hotlapper. The funding the KS guys will get is going to help them finish the product and, of equal significance, with considerable community feedback. It’s all good, just not as good as quickly as we’d like.

  • Tim11

Has anyone given consideration as this being the solution for Kunos not being able to do a pre-orders? Remember there was a problem with the commerce laws whereby he cannot sell what is essentially ‘nothing’, but must give the consumer something in exchange for a purchase. This looks like that solution to me…it’s a pre-release purchase, as was intended, but now you get the Beta version of the game instead of a promise for the full version when completed. I don’t know about all of you, but that sounds fine to me.

    • Anonymous

      Amen to the wise man.

    • Kris Baxter

yeah, probably is, I’m sure I will do it anyway, just making the point that we are all supporting 3 unfinished sims at the moment that we have paid for in advance that combined still do not make up one full game.
I still go back to PnG3 or Historic races in Race07 for my full season vs AI kicks.

    • Anonymous

Translation: They wanted to sell the game a few weeks ago and not release it for longer than the Italian business rules would allow (read: 2014). Instead, they give you Beta access because the game isn’t actually ready to go Gold.

They know people are pissed and this will appease them, allow them to bring in money and give them time.

I’m fine with it, I guess, but I prefer honesty. I prefer the game in my hands to honesty, though. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Hurdy Hurdy

I have several Steam ‘Early Access’ titles in my library (mostly RPG/Strategy type games) and you are effectively becoming a BETA tester for a fee, but then when the final release is made available, you have already paid your dues.

I guess the only risk is that you pay your cash and the game never sees a full release. Its the choice you take. Have ‘Early Access’ or wait for the v1 release to hit the shelves.

      • Anonymous

Let’s hope the game does not get old in the communities before it’s finished. I am a WMD member and I fear that the official release will not feel fresh to me when it’s complete so there are drawbacks.
If Kunos can finalize the game in a relatively short time before releasing post release -patches that will be okay.
Months and months that drag along waiting for key content will not be.

For so long people complain about the delay of the release. Finally the game is here (almost), and complaining still continues! We will all buy and enjoy it, and in a better price and more content than it was planned before. If kunos decides he will release it as a beta, it is because the software is in a beta stage! So I prefer the beta, rather than other 2-3 months of waiting. Happy sim racing everybody! Lets party:P!

    • http://virtualr.net/ F1Racer

  • Roger Wallentin

    Finally!!

It is really excellent that they are releasing content gradually instead of waiting for a big bang release in 2020!

Both because we get earlier access and because now we can focus and enjoy each car and track more instead of having them all at once and picking a few favorites not to explore all properly (I know this is what I do usually at least).

Is 1 and 3 the same or is one the GT ?

      • fkkamil

        Probably both of them.

      • wajdi nujeidat

yes both the road and GT!

      • FZ50

Is that list something you know for a fact, or just an educated guess?

      • wajdi nujeidat

No, I know it for a fact! in that list miss 2 cars, because the first AC will have 11 cars!

      • FZ50

Okay. I guess you won’t know an ETA by any chance? ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Anonymous

      Order of me driving them:
      1. Abarth 500 (for comparison with NKP which I’ll play to get a feel for while AC downloads)
      2. Lotus Elise SC (To compare with the TP)
      3. KTM X-Bow R (To get the feeling for things that go fast around corners)
      4. BMW Z4 (To get a feeling for powerful road car)
      5. MB SLS AMG (Let the German insanity fun begin)
      6. BMW M3 E90 (German cars are going to have a party up to here)

      7. Ferrari 458 (And the Italians take over, with something that may be fastest of the road cars on this list)
      8. BMW M3 E90 GT (Just to finish on the high note, with a fully blown race car)
      9. Lotus Exige Scura (just to ease off back into something less crazy)

I think this may be some of the most fun weekends ever, if it comes out in the next couple days ๐Ÿ˜€

I also think he means that there is one road car and one GT car, I hope anyway, otherwise just take away one of them form my list too ๐Ÿ™‚

100 comments so far about beta release. Can’t imagine the number when the full version will be released.

    • http://virtualr.net/ F1Racer

350+ not counting deleted messages from those who can’t control themselves ๐Ÿ™‚

  • gt3rsr

I remember the good ol’ days when you got a proper demo first and then the complete game full of content without any beta version taking years to be finished. (*cough* GTR2 *cough*)

    • Big Ron

Yeah, where are the times you get a full game and can test to see what to expect before buying? Nowadays you need to buy blind into game developments and often got disappointed how the rest of the game comes out (after several years) as you expected something different.

  • 2013WW3

    no negative comments allowed.

    • http://virtualr.net/ F1Racer

Pointless single (made-up) word comments without any explanations, that are just posted to flamebait, are not allowed. You want to be negative? Fine, then do it constructively. If you can’t then maybe writing on these types of forums/blogs isn’t for you.

    • Skytrill

Constructive criticisms should always be allowed to welcome improvement. The thing is to avoid falling into gratuitous bashing which is too frequent on the internet thing.

Goody. We’ll soon be seeing many comparison videos with pCars! I like that.

    • stabiz

Please no, the never ending comparison videos are bordering on spam.

      • Anonymous

LOL, you might be correct. But I still think the serve some good purpose.

  • Slimjim

Well seeing that it’s starting out at
35.00 Euro or $47 US for 11 cars not sure how many tracks.
how much are the DLC’s going to be.? i can see this this getting spendy
will the Beta have modding tools.?

    • Ales Ogrinc

Here, from fb yesterday about modding tools “Modding tools right after we see there are no big bugs that affect the build and/or future features still to be included”

Really disappointed about this being 80% road cars after the tech demo already had a rather bland road car.

A bit more balance would have been nice for sure.

      • Anonymous

I’m actually excited about the amount of road cars. We have so few of those in other sims. I’m sure we will get more race-spec cars too as content is added.

      • Anonymous

“Regular road-legal cars might also attract a larger audience.”

It will, we already have ISI, SMS & Simbin focusing on racing cars, well done Kunos for thinking out of the box & been different from the other developers, three developers doing the same thing, might as well just purchase one sim racing title.

      • wajdi nujeidat

It is just the start! they will add more race cars for sure in the next weekly updates!

      • Pablo Coronel

Come on! if it has too much road cars, has too much road cars, if it has race cars, because it has too much race cars, jeesshh

      • Anonymous

it really is just a personal preference for me, I’m simply not interested in driving road cars – regardless of the title.

It’s not for me…plus, it’s called sim racing, not sim road car driving ;P

      • Pablo Coronel

Seriously, theres a some amount of sim racer public that demands road cars from the box, by sometime, look at the rf1 mods, in the end, they are cars!

      • GamerMuscle

        Yep need more race cars

Road cars are fun for drifting and messing around with, but personally why drive what is in reality a crappy car compromised for legal road use when you can drive a race car.

If race cars didn’t cost so much and require so-much time to set up and maintain then vast majority of people would not even bother with road cars especially for driving on a race track.

Road car popularity is 90% marketing rather than objective evaluation of the car having intrinsically interesting handling mechanics bar maybe 5 or so road cars.

Mind you its that marketing and brain washing that makes games with road cars be more popular to the general public.

      • Anonymous

While yes I prefer a Race Car any day why label a Road Car crappy?

      • GamerMuscle

Because road cars are crappy and fundamentally worse for driving on a race track , in real life when im picking up all my hot women or cruising around sure a road car is nice but on the track bar a very few specific road cars 99.9% of them are objectively worse than any other given race car designed for a track.

Race cars are designed primarily for response agility and speed, Where as a road cars are designed around comfort and road laws and occasional track driving.

Every car has its own character to an extent but its a simple fact that almost all road cars are compromised in a detrimental way when it comes to raw driving for the sake of having them be road legal.

So sure be pedantic and say you want to drive all cars as they all have there own merits , well yes they do but you don’t see people wanting to put 100+ hours into mastering robin reliant for a reason.

      • Kris Baxter

Most cars would be dull on a track, but from the list those are some nice cars, so in real life would be a hoot on the race track, however in the world of simulations that “hoot” is lost in translation, which tends to make only race cars any good in these simulations.
Mind you, Forza and the GT series (if you like arcade) make road cars half decent fun to drive.
My problem with the list is not the lack of race cars, but the lack of similarity or class, I like doing seasons, one off races are pointless, but I guess I could mix up 3 or 4 of those cars, but I still prefer Race 07 with the GTL mod and Retro DLC, that gives me a a bunch more cars.

      • Marcus Reynolds

I disagree, some of the most fun I ever had on track was in a BMW 320d, even at the Nurburgring the car was immense fun despite being very under powered on the faster sections. A dull car is a dull car regardless of the power it has if the chassis doesn’t inspire you, an exciting chassis can make some of the slowest cars more fun than a razor edged 1000bhp race car, my butt cheeks never twitched so much in my life hammering around the ring in the pouring rain with way less than 200bhp I can tell ya, and I have been around the ring in Vipers, Porsches, Race Prepped M3’s the lot.

      • GamerMuscle

Thats why I said 99.9% ….. Obviously there will be some road cars that offer there own charactor.

      • Anonymous

Well I guess I asked for the lengthy reply. You forgot comfort as a reason Road Cars exist. Still why the crappy label? I do know of at least one individual who prefers Road Cars to Race Cars and likes them better to drift with.

      • Anonymous

Most people who drive cars don’t care about race cars and a car is only a tool to get from point A to point B. Basis of logically being able to support my quote as credible proof is the popularity of the Toyota Prius

      • Anonymous

I say more road cars & more street circuits, we already have Pcars, Iracing, rFactor2 & RRRE focusing on racing spec cars, it’s going to be boring if all the developers produce the same cars & the same tracks.

      • GamerMuscle

Pcars has rubish physics , i racing is to expensive and has physics issues, Rfactor 2 is a mess and has physics issues , RRRE has no multi-player and feels like slightly modified RF1.

      • Anonymous

Thanks for the post you have rejuvenated my interests in the titles you mention above now I can buy a mod renew my subscription for a year and purchase some new content and kick more money into a project. Thank you for inspiring this.

      • Roger Wallentin

I agree that the PC sim world has been starved of proper road car simulation. We desperately need some really good official road car simulations.

We know there will be several race cars in AC including Ferrari 458 GT2
        BMW M3 GT2
        Merc SLS AMG GT3
        McLaren MP4 GT3
        Ferrari F312T classic F1
        Lotus 49 classic F1
        Tatuus open wheeler
        Lotus commercial “F1” car

I think that list is pretty darn good with everything from classic 67 F1 to modern GT2 and GT3! And the list is sure to grow

      • Anonymous

Actually this fact I believe will encourage the best modding teams to race to be the first mods on this game engine base. This is where you will find your balance.
I believe this title will have longevity that which we will enjoy added content for many years to come.

      • Anonymous

Fully agree.. some real well tuned real racing cars would be nice.
This is a fine selection of road cars btw..
But those won’t really do it for me.

      • Olivier Prenten

I second that too! Why not more open-wheeler?

      • Marcel

The Lotus 49 is in the first release instead of the SLS AMG, that means one more racecar.

    • Marcel

Im not sure about the SLS because it’s the last licensed car and Aristotelis didn’t post a picture of the 11thcar till now.

      • Marcel

As is said itยดs not the SLS AMG, itยดs officially the Lotus 49 which adds one more racecar ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Ales Ogrinc

Not at this moment but will be added eventually.

    Imola

    Silverstone

    Magione

    Monza modern and historic!

  • Ioannis

So, this pay-to-beta thing is really catching on. So far any (racing game) beta i gave money for isn’t released yet, and i yet i prepare my wallet for another one.

    • Andrew McP

      Beggars can’t be choosers. ๐Ÿ™‚

As I’ve said countless times before when opening my wallet so iRacing can take more rent, do I mind losing the money more than I’d mind not having the choice in the first place? It’s the lesser of two evils. Probably.

Forgive me for not going all the way to the beginning of the comments but has anyone speculated on what “soon” means

      2017 maybe?

Just kidding, I’d hope it means “during the space of a week’s time,” but I’m unsure, like all of you ๐Ÿ˜›

    • Hurdy Hurdy

If it is anything like iRacing’s soon, we might have a bit of a wait, lol.

I’m just keeping an eye on the Early Access titles on Steam, but as yet no sign of AC.

    • Andrew McP

It’s not just an AC “soon”, it may now also be a Steam “soon”. That gives us soon^2 = soooon! (Or approximately “nine tenths of never” divided by “I remember when it was all fields round here”.)

  • John Karagiannis

This is really great news! Do we know if there will be support to OVR and/or motion?

People were able to change the color of the car and gloves in the preview, AC supports modding to some extent, so no reason not to expect it will happen.

Now, the autodownloading like LFS / TradingPaints is a different thing. We’ll see.
