ARCA Sim Racing – Charlotte Motor Speedway Coming

Posted on December 11th, 2009 in

The Sim Factory will soon be adding Charlotte Motor Speedway to ARCA Sim Racing, making another oval track available to the simulation.

Located north of Charlotte, CMS is a 1.5 mile speedway that hosts races of all major NASCAR divisions including two annual Sprint Cup races and the NASCAR All Star Race. From 1999 to 2009, the track was known as Lowe’s Motor Speedway. The virtual version of the track will feature both a day & night version, comes with a multi-groove racing surface and will accommodate 41 cars.

Made by The Sim Factory and based on Image Space Incorporated’s gMotor2 engine, ARCA Sim Racing brings the ARCA Re/Max stock car series to the PC. The ARCA Sim Racing client can be downloaded here.
