Definitely felt that too, GTVIRUS. A Joystick for forward/beck or existing paddle controller should work and be cheaper. But the fact that this lever matches that seen in the race cars they also adapt does mean this wheel has an edge of realism about it for those who run AR's modified race cars.

Great idea for disabled drivers.

It also looks like, if you could mount it vertically, would be the perfect handbrake for Richard Burns Rally.

I personally dont understand why the set-up your described with your thrustmaster isnt the norm for disabled drivers(or even having 4 paddles on the back back of the wheel). The Thrustmaster RGT should be the perfect wheel for disabled drivers in my opinon.

Of course, i've never tried to drive like this, so i dont really know how it works :S

This is brilliant, I have disabled friends who are going to love it. They have wanted for ages to play but the normal controls are no good and joy-sticks etc don't really make them feel part of the racing. Kudo's to the people responsible for this item, the more people we get racing the better the racing gets. Thanks for posting this one, made a lot of people happier. Buy yourself a beer.
