The A1GP mod has been floating around the sim racing community for quite a while. Being the remains of a never finished comercial project, the cars made their way to various sims including GTR2 and rFactor.
This is the newest rFactor version made by an unknown author, bringing all the cars of the maiden World Cup of Motorsport’s season to rFactor. The series uses equal Zytek-powered cars racing on Cooper Tires rubber.

Virtua_LM has released new previews of another stunning track creation for rFactor, showing us new shots of the Japanese Fuji Speedway in late 80s specification. Located near the famous Mount Fuji in Oyama, Japan, Fuji Speedway was opened in 1963. The track was a popular venue for sports car races as the track was part of the FIA World Sports Car Championship for Group C prototypes from 1982 to 1988. This release is the same leak that is going around for ages. If you really want to know more, you must visit the iDT forum.
I can’t understand why somebody outside of the owners would release this.

the helmets don’t show correctly. the defaults helmet of rfactor aren’t compatible with this mod.
Does I need the helmets folder that in the zip file isn’t present?.

Well, since this mod was posted on various sites, I figured it was reasonable to post. I honestly have no clue who released it and where it’s coming from.
The GTR2 is somewhat legit though so this one should be too.

Well, the GTR2 release was known by iDT when it was progressing, and the converter took contact with iDT when he was progressing. This wasone reason to get iDT thinking of releasing something for rFactor.
This version is not known to be in progress by iDT. In fact, it is a leaked, (and maybe a) slightly modified older version from when it was in progress. There has been much more progress since then.

this mod is great
only thing is that virtual mirrors dont work, all in them is stretched, other than that great mod when You get into it (default setup is not very good)

How on earth are you supposed to download it? You get to the download page, where it says: “only enter the characters attached to a cat”. They’re all attached to a cat! Arrrgh!
