A Creative Video & A Big Reward

This is just some of those amazing stories you might not believe if they were told you. One driver of the RACE07 league T2SP went a very creative way to introduce his team Polyphony Digital Racing. He composed a YouTube video which included the unveiling of the digital car, perfectly put into the real life footage.

A little later, his league was contact by Simbin, asking for his contact information. And another while later, the guy received the following pack from Simbin, including a signed Alex Zanardi cap. What does this tell us? Creative ideas mostly get rewarded….and Simbin is watching the RACE07 community :)

Fuji Speedway by Virtua_LM – New Previews

Virtua_LM has released new previews of another stunning track creation for rFactor, showing us new shots of the Japanese Fuji Speedway in late 80s specification. Located near the famous Mount Fuji in Oyama, Japan, Fuji Speedway was opened in 1963. The track was a popular venue for sports car races as the track was part of the FIA World Sports Car Championship for Group C prototypes from 1982 to 1988. Audi R15 TDI for GTR2 1.0 – Released

Alless has released his Audi R15 TDI for GTR2, adding Audi's current Le Mans Prototype challenger to the simulation. Introduced in 2009, the R15 is Audi’s second Diesel prototype for the Le Mans 24 Hours. F1 2010 – First Previews & Infos

Even though Codemasters announced that their Formula One 2010 game will be revealed to the media on March 17th, first details have now been disclosed via the Official Xbox Magazine. The four-page preview article includes first-ever preview screenshots of the upcoming game, showing various cars in action on several tracks. Also included are first previews of the game's impressive wet weather effects. MMG F1 2007 for GTR Evolution – Released

MMG has released their Formula One 2007 mod for GTR Evolution/RACE 07, bringing a high-quality Formula One mod to Simbin's franchise. After receiving lots of praise from the rFactor community, F1 2007 has been carefully converted to GTR Evolution by Günthar Rowe who equipped the mod with scratch-made physics and plenty of other new features such as animated arms, rain races and other stuff that couldn't be found in the rFactor version. Com8 Nordschleife 2009 – Five New Previews

After being busy with other track projects for quite a while, Com8 has released some new previews of a very much anticipated track for rFactor - The Nürburgring Nordschleife 2009. Based on the original Simbin version, Com8's 2009 version will contain many changes such as new textures & shaders, remodelled curbs, the removal of all fictional advertisement boards and lots of trackside objects.
