3DSimED 2.8 – Released

Dave Noonan has released a new version of his 3DSimED modding tool that allows visual editing of both cars and tracks from various simulations.
The new version adds even more titles to the impressive compatibility list as extended support for Need for Speed Shift as well as Black Bean’s V8 Superstars Next Challenge title.
Changelog:
- Improved support for NFS Shift cars and tracks including XBox 360 format.
- Import of V8 SuperStars Next Challenge .BIN files. The import of cars works well, but track import will need improving in future versions.
- The Tools->Data Reports->Model Info now includes the extents of objects.
Supporting a wide range of file formats of simulations such as rFactor, GTR Evolution, NASCAR Racing 2003 and Grand Prix Legends, 3DSimED is a visual editor for car and track makers. 3DSimED sells for 25 British Pounds, a 20-day trial version is available for download.
